International Trade and Logistics
Mission
The main mission of our program is to train expert human resources who can combine the theoretical knowledge required for the teaching of International Trade and Logistics with contemporary and innovative practices built on social knowledge and values, who have gained the ability to follow new knowledge and approaches in the field, who are aware of the contemporary world and country realities, who can apply existing methods and develop new methods in the field of International Trade and Logistics. This mission is internalised in a way to contribute to the mission of Bursa Technical University to achieve excellence in education, scientific research and community services.
Vision
To become a world brand as a high quality and innovative department that respects universal values, respects universal values, produces value-added projects in public-industry co-operation, respects universal values, ensures the effective continuation of trade policies with a new perspective in Türkiye, and is preferred in the first place with its education and training, research quality and co-operation.
Main Discipline Facilities
Our library, which our university offers to students, serves a total closed area of 2,307 m2 in a three-storey detached building in Block C of Mimar Sinan Campus. Our library has a seating capacity of 351 people, 23 individual study rooms, 9 group study rooms, 4 academic study rooms, and a meeting room for 24 people. In this area, there are 8 desktop computers for the use of our students. The library is open from 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday, both during the academic term and during the summer term. It is closed on official holidays and weekends. Wireless internet service is available on campus for students to use. In addition, in the courses where computer use is compulsory, there is the possibility of allocating the computer laboratory, which has enough computers for the entire class, for the use of the course. Access to digital databases is given importance in our library. Considering the demands and needs of researchers, a pool of reputable and world-leading databases in the field of Social Sciences has been created. Between 2011 and 2016, 4,500 Turkish and English books were purchased for our University Library. Approximately 16,000 books were made available to students in our university library. Our university has 21,040 e-journals, 154 e-books, and 18 electronic database subscriptions and is open to the use of students.
