Mathematics
Mission
To offer a graduate programme at international standards that educates individuals who have mathematical thinking skills, are open to continuous development, adopt professional ethical values, are original, entrepreneurial and sensitive to national values; to contribute primarily to the development of mathematical science in itself and to reveal the applications of mathematics to other disciplines by publishing research articles in national and international journals, participating in national and international conferences; to help prepare and supervise the resources needed by the society in the field of mathematics.

There are employment opportunities as academic staff both in Turkey and abroad, employment opportunities as software developers, data scientists, etc. in various software companies, and employment opportunities as expert staff in the banking sector.

Purpose of the Program

History of the Program
According to the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 21.07.2010 and numbered 27648, Bursa Technical University was established as the 5th Technical University of Turkey and the 2nd State University of Bursa with 6 Faculties, 2 Institutes and 1 School of Higher Education. The Department of Mathematics within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences within Bursa Technical University has been accepting students since the 2018-2019 academic year.
